For more than twenty years, Hakan Erdogan Productions has organized unique, high quality and memorable concerts where both Turkish and international musicians meet their audience in unusual settings. Whether it's a small house concert or an event with thousands in the audience, our goals remain the same: To provide the audience with an unforgettable, unique concert experience; to produce a flawless event, and to serve the audience beyond their expectations by anticipating their wishes.

 

Hakan Erdogan Productions started its journey in Ankara, Turkey, in 1985. Our very first project was the Ankara Festival; in '92 in Ankara Hippodrome. There was a majestic performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony by the Presidental Symphony Orchestra with 20.000 participants. Due to its success, we organized the Carmina Burana concert in '93, with 40.000 people. There was an exceptionally young crowd. 

 

We, as Hakan Erdogan Productions, always wanted to create unforgettable experiences, and we are determined to remain original. We've searched for extraordinary locations: In 96' an Idil Biret concert in Yedikule Dungeons; in 97’, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, performed by the İstanbul Symphony Orchestra, in the Ankara mines; or in 99', a performance of Holst's "The Planets" by Vienna Symphony Orchestra at the solar eclipse, in Gökhöyük. 

 

We try to connect the culture, the tradition, and the present. We support our local musicians and traditional music culture. Our production team gathered Fazıl Say, an influential pianist, and Mercan Dede, a composer that uses ethnic components, together. It resulted in an outstanding performance. It was a fantastic experience, and the audience was profoundly distinct. "Jazz in Ramadan" which was held seven times, a merge of cultures. We've gathered influential musicians such as Ahmad Jamal, Abdullah Ibrahim, McCoy Tyner. 

 

Hakan Erdogan Productions has an intimate bond with Bach. It all started with "Istanbul Bach Days" in '98 which then became an annual event that is still continuing. We've worked with musicians such as Le Petit Band, Wieland Kuijken, Sigiswald Kuijken, Natalia Gutman, Pierre Hantai, Reinhard Goebel, Andreas Staier. We've organized five concerts with Gustav Leonhardt, an influential name in Bach's music. 

 

We've held Ülker Mozart Days for four years. We've worked with names such as Wolfgang Bruner, Andreas Staier, Alex Lubimov, and Alexander Rudin. 

 

From 1985 till today, Hakan Erdogan Productions has united people with classical and jazz music. We create exceptional memories with extraordinary musicians. Thank you, to those who've been a part of it, and we welcome those who'll become.
